These beautiful Raku fired girls have gone through extreme firing processes to acquire the charred crackle glazed effects. The Raku method of firing uses wood to heat the kiln up to 1000deg C to melt the glaze. At this temperature the pieces are removed from the kiln and immersed in bins of sawdust resulting in the blacked smokey effects. Each one is uniquely different. There are ten different poses in this collection.
